Johnny Depp: U.S. is like a stupid puppy
Wednesday, September 3, 2003 Posted: 10:17 AM EDT (1417 GMT)

BERLIN, Germany (Reuters) -- Hollywood star Johnny Depp said on Wednesday the United States was a stupid,
aggressive puppy and he would not live there until the political climate changed.
The 40-year-old actor, who stars in the "Pirates of the Caribbean," told the German news magazine Stern he was happier staying in the south of France with his wife, the French actress and singer Vanessa Paradis, and their two children. "America is dumb, it's like a dumb puppy that has big teeth that can bite and hurt you, aggressive," he said. "My daughter is four, my boy is one. I'd like them to see America as a toy, a broken toy. Investigate it a little, check it out, get this feeling and then get out," said the star of the off-beat films "Edward Scissorhands" and "Dead Man."Depp slammed George W. Bush's administration for its criticism of French opposition to the U.S.-led war in Iraq."I was ecstatic they re-named 'French Fries' as 'Freedom Fries'. Grown men and women in positions of power in
the U.S. government showing themselves as idiots," he told Stern.

Now, I won't say that President Bush is perfect, but I will say that he has done a fine job in defending the country since 9-11.
And no matter what you think about President Bush or the "WAR IN IRAQ", SUPPORT THE TROOPS, Because they are just doing their job to defend the country, and whether you want to admit it or not, Saddam Hussien would like nothing more than for every last American to be DEAD.
So with that I say Fuck Saddam & Fuck Johnny "The Dickhead" Depp, and if you don't like it.........you can KISS MY RED BLOODED AMERICAN ASS.

AMEN

Now on a more serious note...
The entire Black Earth band would like to express our deepest sympathies to our Manager Brian Wolber and his family for the recent passing of his father. Mr. Wolber was always very supportive and understanding when it came to Black Earth or other bands that Brian was associated with. Only 2 member's of Black Earth ever had the chance to meet Brian's father, but I can say that he was truly one of a kind and will be sorely missed.

For the time being, please address all Black Earth inquiries to: Blackearth1@aol.com, as Brian will be taking some time off.
